Access
to Finance
Access
to finance is a critical enabler of economic empowerment, enterprise
development and inclusive growth. In line with Rwanda’s Vision 2050 and NST2
priorities, expanding access to appropriate and affordable financial services
is essential to strengthening financial inclusion, mobilizing productive
investment, creating economic opportunities and improving livelihoods.
CCOAIB’s
distinctive contribution is its ability to leverage its national network of
member organizations to bridge communities and grassroots enterprises with
financial knowledge, resources and relevant financing opportunities. Through
capacity development, financial literacy, savings promotion, resource
mobilization and improved financial management, CCOAIB strengthens the
financial capabilities and sustainability of member organizations and the
communities they serve. It also facilitates linkages with financial service
providers and development partners to improve access to suitable savings,
credit and other financing mechanisms.
Through
these complementary pathways, CCOAIB contributes to stronger organizational
sustainability, more resilient household livelihoods, viable community
enterprises and broader participation in economic opportunities. This approach
advances Rwanda’s ambitions for inclusive financial access, entrepreneurship
and sustainable economic transformation under Vision 2050 and NST2.
